This is a four-week workshop to teach student stress management skills to help transform their stress into a positive emotional mindset that decreases negative reactions to the challenges in their daily life that impacts their potential to thrive with high level of wellness. This is a free event that will meet 4 times this semester. Please sign up by February 23.
The format of this workshop will include 20 minutes of discussion, 20 minutes of light movement and 20 minutes of mindfulness techniques to increase management skills of stress.
Dates: Mondays from 4:30 to 5:30pm on February 26, March 4, March 18, and March 25
Location: State Gym Room 2218
This opportunity will be for Iowa State students only.
About the Instructor: Nora Hudson is Sr. Coordinator of Wellness at Iowa State Rec Services. She is trained in stress management, yoga and mindfulness skills, will teach this workshop which will have some discussion and movement experiences. For questions contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
