The Perfect Snack Energy bites snack balls

Looking for a healthier on-the-go snack that isn’t full of sugar but is full of energy? Try out these easy, no bake, and protein packed peanut butter energy balls! These little bites are also rich in fiber to keep you full and satisfied longer.

Here are the ingredients you will need:

  •      2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  •      ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  •      1 cup oats
  •      ½ cup ground flax seeds
  •      2 tablespoons honey

Given the fact that this is a no bake recipe with only 5 ingredients, the instructions are pretty simple:

Step 1: Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir.

Step 2: Place the mixture in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes so they are easier to roll

Step 3: Roll into 12 small balls and store them in the fridge.

The energy bites are good to store in the fridge for about a week, although I bet they’ll be gone by then! If you don’t think they will be gone in time, throw them in the freezer and save them for later! If you want to make them a tad bit healthier, I would suggest replacing the semi-sweet chocolate chips with dark chocolate chips. If you look up energy bites online, you can find recipes for many other flavors such as pumpkin, monster cookie, strawberry, cinnamon, lemon poppy seed, vanilla, brownie, etc. Grab a few of these to snack on when you leave for the gym or when you’re on your way to class, I don’t think you’ll regret it!
