Many pools are experiencing lifeguard shortages; therefore Certified Lifeguards are in high demand! You could become a certified guard in just a few days at the end of Spring Break.
The purpose of the lifeguarding course is to learn the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. The course content and activities prepare participants to recognize and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and prevent drowning and injuries. Successful completion of the course does not guarantee employment. You must pass the pre-requisites to participate. You must be present for all hours of the course.
