Fitness Classes

Individuals who have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 are not required to wear a face covering. Individuals who have not been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 are encouraged to wear a face covering.

Specialty Class – Women’s Weight Lifting

This 5-week clinic will teach women who are new to weightlifting proper form, technique, and the correct approach in the following lifts: Front Squat, Bench Press, Back Squat, Deadlift, and Shoulder Presses. The intent of this clinic is to help all participants feel comfortable with using the weight racks, barbells, and plates. Time will be spent on learning gym etiquette and setting up the safety features at the weight rack. There are now two sections of this clinic due to demand. Both the Tuesday and Thursday class will be the same, so be sure to only register for one or the other.

Summer 2021 Women’s Weight Lifting Clinic

SECTION 1 – TUESDAYS:
Dates: June 15th – July 13th
Time: Tuesdays from 5:30pm-7:00pm for 5 weeks
Location: State Gym 1218 to start, and then State Gym weight racks
Cost: $50 due at time of registration
