Facility Rentals ISU Rec Services Hallway

Curious on how to rent out our facilities? Look no further! It’s actually a lot easier than you think. Next time your club or organization is putting on an event, try checking out Recreation Services for your venue.

It’s simple! All you have to do is fill out the facility reservation form found here. This form gives our administration all the information they need to know about who you are and what your event will be. Make sure to fill this form out at least one week in advance, if not earlier. Anything submitted less than a week will not be considered due to scheduling for things like Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, and other campus clubs and organizations.

That being said, there is a priority chain when it comes to who can rent out our facilities. The order of top priority to lowest priority are as follows: 1) Intramural Sports, 2) Sport Clubs, 3) Campus Organizations, 4) University Affiliations, 5) off-campus organizations. We prioritize our students and Rec Pass holders first and foremost, but we are more than welcoming to outside organizations.

If you are interested in using equipment, our Outdoor Recreation Program has a wide variety of equipment you can choose to rent, you can find those options here. There is a nominal fee for equipment rentals, and an ISU card is required. For more information, call 294-8200. If you’re interested in reserving the climbing wall, there’s a rental fee of $45 for registered student organizations, $50 for University groups, and $100 for non-University groups. We also ask that you reserve the climbing wall at least 15 days in advance.

All set-up and clean up is your responsibility! We ask that you respect our fields and facilities and the equipment provided to you. We want everyone to have fun and stay safe, but we need your help to maintain a fun and safe atmosphere.

Lastly, anyone who is not affiliated with Iowa State University is required to submit a certificate of insurance. With questions about insurance, contact University Risk Management at 515-294-5315.
