Snow Canyon State Park is located in the southwest corner of Utah. The area is very unique as it is a combination of red Navajo Sandstone and black lava rock. There are two distinct volcanic cones at the head of the canyon. Hiking in this area is very scenic to say the least. Many trails take you through this magical terrain and the trails range from easy to difficult. The Snow Canyon area is located near many National Parks and depending on the weather, other hikes may be avaialable.
