Here is an opportunity for you to experience the solitude of a winter wonderland in the back country of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and then head to one of the premier Ski/Snowboard Resorts in North America, Steamboat Springs. During the initial part of the trip the group will ski/snowshoe into the back country of the Rocky Mountains and spend two nights in a cozy structure called a “yurt “. Beds are provided along with a wood stove to keep you all warm. During the day you will have the opportunity to cross country ski, snowshoe or snowboard. On the second part of the trip you will travel about an hour and a half over to Steamboat Springs, CO and stay in a condo for three days and ski/snowboard for two days. Steamboat is a great place for beginners and experienced skiers and boarders. This trip offers it all for a winter excursion!
