Intramural ice hockey has 6 players on the ice. There are three 8 minute periods with a running clock. Checking is not allowed. All games are at night and each team will be scheduled for a minimum of 3 games. Helmets, sticks and goalie equipment are provided. Players must provide their own hockey skates and they can be rented at the ice rink for $2.75. The team fee to participate is: $65
Eligibility:
Spring 2009 ISU students/faculty/staff.
Affiliates and spouses of Spring 2009 students/faculty/staff who have purchased an ISU ID card for 2008-09.
All participants must bring a current ISU ID card to each game. Some of the skill divisions have restrictions on experienced players -- see the above skill divisions for details.
Women must play on a women's team and men must play on a men's team.
Ineligible: ISU Hockey Club Varsity Players (Men and Women)
Forfeits:
If a team does not show up for a game -- their will be a forfeit fine of $10. If your team has a problem with a game time -- contact the Sport Coordinator prior to the game to see if there are some options. Linda Marticke, 294-3234 -

REFEREES - We need some students who are good skaters and have some hockey experience to referee, so that we can offer this program. You may still play on a team and you set your own hours.
