Eligibility:
All current ISU students, faculty, staff and spouses of students/faculty/staff are eligible to play Intramural volleyball...bring your ISU ID card to your games.
There are some restrictions on current and former ISU Club members/Intercollegiate players -- see the "Volleyball Information" link at the bottom of this page.
You don't need to know all of your players when you enter a team. A player is not an official member of your team until they actually play in a game. You may add new players for your preliminary games --just bring them to the game and put their name on the scorecard. The deadline to add new players will be indicated on your tournament schedule.
Forfeits:
A $20 forfeit fine will be charged to the captain - if a team fails to show up for their scheduled match. The fine may be avoided by notifying the Recreation Services Office - 24 hours in advance of the match. 294-3234

REFEREES NEEDED -
Anyone interested in being a referee for Intramural Volleyball should attend the introductory meeting - Wed. September 30th at 7:00pm in 104 Beyer Hall. You can referee and still play on a team. No experience required - set your own hours - meet other students who love sports. If unable to attend the meeting - contact Russ Jones, 294-0998 or
Practice Dates:
Preliminary league matches will be scheduled from October 8 through October 28. Matches are played from 6:30-11:45pm, Sunday through Thursday. Teams play one league match per week.
Tournament Dates:
The elimination tournaments will begin after the completion of league play -- and tentatively start Nov. 4 and go through Dec. 6
