Smart Eats Orientation

This complimentary and brief orientation to the Smart Eats Program is provided by a dietetic student. In this session the  dietetic student will discuss the best options to enhance your nutritional knowledge. You will receive basic feedback regarding your nutrition knowledge and useful resources to guide your development of healthy nutritional habits.

6 Week Smart Eats Program

This six week class series will offer a supportive environment to assist you in developing skills around healthy meal plan development and accurate nutritional knowledge skills. Fitness staff dietetic students will present information and guide motivational activities around the following topics: essential nutritional food groups, health enhancement nutritional sources and habits, effective shopping and planning nutritional meals. In addition to the weekly class each participant will receive weekly resources, six 30 minute check-in sessions with a fitness dietetic student and a water bottle at the completion of the class.

The Smart Eats six week program will take place at Wednesday’s beginning February 1 thru March 8, 5:15PM – 6:15 PM in the State Gym conference room (Rm0185.)

30 Minute Smart Eats Check-In Sessions

Offered after attending the Smarts Eats orientation or as part of the 6 week Smart Eats program, students will be able to meet weekly with a fitness dietetic student who provides feedback regarding your nutrition knowledge and supports you in the development of healthy nutritional habits. Weekly sessions will be limited to six sessions per student.
