Archery Club

Boxing Club
The ISU Boxing club is a member of the National Collegiate Boxing Association. The NCBA's philosophy and rules seek to provide a boxing outlet for student athletes with little or no experience. The program emphasizes the teaching of fundamental novice boxing skills while studying. The association is designed to provide a safe, positive educational experience for student athletes and encourages participation at the intramural, instructional, recreational and competitive amateur boxing levels. The NCBA conducts competitions throughout the year for the following weight classes: 112, 119, 125, 132, 139, 147, 156, 165, 175, 185, 195, and 195+. We welcome all individuals interested in learning, training and competing (not required) in amateur boxing.
Canoe & Kayak Club

Crew Club
To promote the sport of rowing to ISU students, faculty and staff. To promote a sportsmanship like manner in the sport of rowing. To provide structure and service to its members. Cricket Club
ISU Cricket Club is started in year 2001, to promote the game of CRICKET among students, faculty and staff of ISU. We aim to provide necessary facilities and infrastructure for playing the game on campus. Membership is open for all. We organize regular tournaments throughout the year. Designed to bring together cyclists for recreational and competitive riding.
Cyclone Ballroom
The mission of Cyclone Ballroom is to promote dancing around the ISU campus and the Ames area. We do this by offering lessons at various levels, attending workshops and competitions, and by sponsoring dances and workshops of our own. Cyclone Stampede Rodeo
A NIRA sanctioned rodeo held by ISU every fall semester.
Cyclone Wrestling Club
A club designed for experienced or noviced wrestlers. There is a team who will travel to compete with other respectable clubs around the midwest. Or if your looking for fun our practices are open.
Disc Golf Club
This is a student organization for the purpose of organized recreational play of Disc Golf.
Diving Club
The diving club is for men and women who have previously dove and would like to continue the experience. The club is also open to newcomers that are genuinely interested in the sport. Fencing Club

Fishing Club
We are trying to connect with other students here at ISU who like to fish but don't know the area very well. We host a few events each year including a Spring fishing tournament with other area clubs, as well as an Ice Fishing outing in the winter. We are looking for all of those people who are interested in fishing and helping to grow our club. Flying Cyclones
The ISU Flying Cyclones is about anything and everything aviation related. Our club has meetings every two weeks where we have presentations, stories, videos, and discussion of upcoming trips. Iowa State Men's Rugby

Iowa State Running Club
The purpose of the Iowa State Running Club is to promote the sport of competitive running for students at the collegiate club level through the national organization known as NIRCA. Come join if you want to run competitively in a fun and friendly atmosphere and compete in 8K races against other colleges across the country or if you are looking for a person to run with without the competitive atmosphere. ISU Kumdo Club
Club meets Tuesday and Thursday 7:00pm-9:00pm in Forker Gym. If you are a new member and do not own a practice sword, one will be provided. Please bring clothes which you will be able to practice in comfortably and flexibly. ISU Muay Thai
We train in Muay Thai, the national sport of Thailand. Muay Thai involves the use of punches, knees, elbows, kicks, and clinching in order to dominate your opponent. ISU Table Tennis Club
This club is for anyone interested in a competitive table tennis experience. We meet every tuesday and Thursday night from 8PM to 10PM in Rec center(ground floor court 18).
ISU Taekwondo Club/Karate

ISU Weight Club
The Weight Club provides unique equipment, atmosphere and opportunity for our members for an experience not found anywhere else on campus. Our equipment is geared towards the hardcore trainee, our atmosphere is tight-knit with many knowledgeable members, and we have ample opportunities for anyone to participate through Club Fest, VEISHEA, club leadership positions, and powerlifting and other strength sports competitions. Judo Club
To teach the art and sport of Judo. Judo involves learning throwing, pinning, choking and arm-bar techniques. But Judo is called "the gentle way" because one of it's tenants is "mutual welfare and benefit". This makes a participant understand that he/she would be able to learn nothing without his/her partner. The Judo Club meets Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6pm in 202E Forker Building. Juggling and Unicycling Club
The ISU Juggling and Unicycling Club teaches, practices, and performs all the skills associated with juggling and unicycling. If you would like to come check us out or juggle with us, we meet: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00PM-9:00PM in the atrium at Howe Hall. Lacrosse Club

Men's Volleyball Club
This club is based on promoting volleyball on campus. We travel to many tournaments at many different universities and cities across the midwest. Motocross Club

Motorcycle Club, ISU

Mountaineering and Climbing Club

Nordic Ski Club
The Nordic Skiing Club is a great way to get out and get exercise in the winter. If you enjoy the snow and like being outdoors, you will love Nordic (Cross Country) skiing. It is a great sport for anyone, someone who is looking to get an intense workout or who just wants to do it for recreation. There will be optional practices and races all through the year. Paintball Club
Students interested in joining need no prior playing experience, nor gear of their own. The ISU Paintball Club is a member of the NCPA (National Collegiate Paintball Association). Within this association, collegiate teams from across the country compete with each another in tournament play. Sailing & Windsports Club
To promote interest and knowledge in the sport of sailing and other wind sports among students, faculty and staff at ISU. To extend the sailing season on campus from a one season sport to a year-round sport via land yachts, ice boats and other equipment. Soccer Club
The Iowa State Soccer club, formerly the Iowa State Men's Soccer Club and Iowa State Women's Soccer Club provides a fun atmosphere while providing a level of competition unmet in the past. With games scheduled against college teams and other club teams, the Iowa State Soccer Club has made it to the NIRSA nationals six years in a row, with an extremely promising year this year. Synchronized Skating Club
Synchronized Skating is a team sport on ice. We choreograph routines to music and preform in unison including kicklines, circles, blocking, and footwork, all in fluid motion. This sport is for all skating abilities and is open to both men and women.
Tennis Club

Members can participate in club tournaments, play on the competitive teams, attend various recreational events, as well as meet and get to know other tennis players at Iowa State. Water Polo Club
You learn the rules and skills of fair and competitive play. Iowa State’s men’s and women’s water polo team is competing in the CWPA collegiate club divisions and has several tournaments throughout the year.
